Here is article from Wired where Eric Schmidt tells us not to fear the AI… contrary to the recent statements from Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking, who both sound like they might be freaking out a little about the impact of Artificial Intelligence. Just do a search for “Elon Musk AI Summoning the Demon”.

I really think an important point to remember when listening to anything that Eric Schmidt and Google representatives have to say is that they are technology SALES persons and Advertisers. The discussion below includes Condoleezza Rice, with topics on the future of technology in war, politics, business, intelligence gathering, and more. Is this an educational discussion on the impacts of the internet, or a modern and sophisticated advertisement for information products? Is there a difference anymore?
