What an incredibly interesting plot turn in the battle of perceptions brought out of the closet by a lone Army Private First Class. While some have latched onto referring to Manning’s actions as the largest U.S. intelligence leak in America’s history, there are still others who say she should be hailed as a national hero, and that she will ultimately “change how the world views the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and future wars actually.” Well after receiving a 35 year sentence at Leavenworth for exposing some highly secret dirty laundry, it turns out Manning is now testing the military/prison/military-prison system on transgender issues as well.
